Thank you everyone. :-) It looks just as I imagined it would and I am proud of it. Glad you like the block placement. I wanted the more solid fabrics to make up the blocks for the diamond around the center, then the less solid to outline it, then the solid again at the corners. I think it gives it a rest and not every block screaming "look at me".

I don't think I will hand quilt it. It just takes so long and it's so big, 100" x 100". I will have it done by a LAQ.

I have some time alone this weekend, DD and kids are gone, so I was able to finish it and I got out the next quilt that just needs the borders done. Might even get to another one that just needs borders too.

It's gorgeous!! I love the schoolhouse blocks, the large blue stars,the appliqued center and the corners of the center panel-------Beautiful !! You SHOULD be proud--you did a great job.
