Terrific job with you fabric placement it really makes the flag look like it is waving with the subtle change in value you did. I can't imagine cutting out those letters! Did you also stitch around them in some way? Like a button hole or raw edge straight stitch or do you plan on quilting over them heavily to help keep them down?
