Wow when you get motivated to finish you really get motivated! 25 blocks and pieced together in one day, that is what I call a mega sew day. Love it and I am sure the soldier who gets it will love it too. Good job!

beautiful, a very nice thing to do.
My son-in-law has been to Iraq three times and Afganistan two. He is stateside now in Georgia but I think he would like to go back. He really feels a responsibility to his fellow soldiers. He has only been injured once (praise God), lost some of his hearing. I think he may get one for Christmas.

That is awesome! Our guild also makes American Hero quilts that go to Washington. I have only made 2, but I have another one in the works. The pattern is Summertime Star and I will post pictures when I am done. We usually send 25 - 30 quilts a year to them.
