The perfect gift for a busy quilter

I am glad you understand my "addiction" for the fabric boxes I posted here:

    http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...n-t189227.html

I thought to share with you how I started to make the boxes.
I have a quilting friend, she is extremely busy and she can't enjoy quilting as much as she would like to.
How often would you put at work the sewing machine if you have only 10 or 30 minutes to sew? So I thought a kit with everything you need for hand stitching is great for a busy quilter.
I needed a container to keep all the pieces organized and I made this box set.

Yes it is, and I just love how you included the fabrics in a color wheel! Beautiful.
Being skinny isn't easy, so I gave up and opted for being sexy instead. (aunty acid)

It truly is the perfect gift! Does your friend know she was the inspiration for such a practical, pretty gift set? All your boxes are wonderful. I oohed and ahhhed at your other post showing your whole variety. Thanks for sharing your inspiration with us.

With a tag line like "perfect gift for a busy quilter", I half expected to see something like an extra 24 hours or so in a week with no interruptions! Would that it could be....

I think that is a fabulous gift idea. I just found the "fabric" boxes to die for, but with all the cute stuff inside, even a non-sewer would fall in love!

That is awesome. I do have a friend that keeps hand stitching in the car. She does it while her husband drives or while waiting for him while he is running an errand.
