ladypetite, after seeing what a beautiful piecing job you did, I watched the MSQC youtube tutorial on how to assemble it. Did you use the modified instructions Jenny posted after the pattern was printed? I see all of your points are perfect. Another question: if you used the modified method, was it difficult to offset the side background pieces and still match all the seams? This quilt is gorgeous, both of you did an outstanding job. You make a good team. Thanks for sharing with us.

Your quilt is really nice - but that quilting job just makes it pop. Wow. It is amazing to see what quilting can do to a great quilt - it makes it even greater. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much for asking :-) Yes.....fortunately I did watch the revised version before I started on it. The offset is really only a 'guesstimate' and because I KNOW I did not "guess" exactly 3/8 inch each time, I feel pretty darn lucky that my points did match up so wonderfully. There were a couple of blocks that the points from each block were just a little off from each other....about 1/8 inch. Fun and easy pattern to work with.....although I did start with the wrong size paper I believe. I used the 10 inch squares that MSQC sells and had to cut them in half diagonally. Hope this helps,
