I get so busy looking at everyones elses I dont think to post my own until someone here says "I Wanna SEE" LOL
A local quilt guide and my LQS (I have them all trained!) saves all scraps so i make pet beds! The cases are either pillow cases or more often material I get at thrift stores (pillow cases there too!) the cases have snaps on them and the inside matched the outer coverings!! I already gave a bunch to humane society. The next batch I may give to the boarder next to vet.

I've been saving my scraps to give to my LQS. They have ladies who make pet beds for the local shelter. However, I've decided I am going to use what I've saved so far to make one for my older cat (15 yrs). He likes to curl up by my sewing machine & sleep while I sew. This way he can sleep in comfort.

These are wonderful. What do you use for the inside? I was trying to think of what I could do for our local shelter. I was thinking of blankets but, I really like the bed idea too.
I am sure they really appreciate what you do. I know the doggies do.
