My first quilt was a single Irish chain. I think I like it the best. I'll take it off son's bed and take a pic. I've made several baby quilts too.

They are quick and easy and cute! I have one that's a king size waiting to be sandwiched and quilted that I made ages ago, just waiting for some batting I ordered to finish this UFO.

    Grammy Dwynn,

I saw your amazing quilt at the Coburg Quilt Show, didn't I?

I love it and remember it got me thinking about Irish Chains for the first time.

Thank You for sharing your beautiful and inspiring quilt!

Karla, were you talking to me about applique? No applique here, i'm terrified of it lol. My roses hearts and diamonds were all paper-pieced in the alternate squares. :) Wow, so many gorgeous quilts here, makes me want to do another chain too lol

This is my double Irish chain. I really love this pattern and can't wait to make another one.

Single IC blocks, or 9 patch blocks are so fun to swap. I'd love to make another one. My ex-husband took the quilt I posted and won't give it back so the picture is all that's left for me to remember it by.

Here is my Irish Chain top. I still don't have it quilted yet. It's a single chain, made using EB book. Very easy and goes very fast. This is a twin size.

    Full view.
