barb gets all the ty ty for this one... i have been dying to do one and she could not of explained it any better !!! thank you sooo much barb for helping in every step and being very clear !!
i always do my quilting but i am not very good at it.. but the only way for me to learn is to keep going forward and trying.
i have no clue about this one..

Colleen, take a look at this bargello offered by the Amish.
It shows how to follow the colors in the design. I have done this a couple times on small bargellos.

Colleen,
OMG!!! That is absolutely spectacular. Great colors and great movement. I made one of those twisted ribbon bargellos and loved the finished product, but don't know if I will ever do another one that complicated, but my son loves it.
