sew cornie, I like it. You kept the pinwheel theme but drew out more of the blue. Way to go!

Oh~ WOW~ Jennifer(shaking my head in ahhhhh)! You really have added a great border(there are alot of pieces in all those squares!). Love all the colors and fabrics and am thinking the flower in the dark blue matches the center. It's really pretty~

They are actually red stars on the navy fabric. The turquoise in Tisha's center has a graphic print and the stars on the navy I used are also graphic. I thought they complimented one another well. I haven't counted how many squares. Ummm . . . (doing head math) . . . (finding a calculator). . . 400! Oh, I'm so glad I hadn't added that up beforehand! LOL. Each square is 1"x1" in size.

I know it's both busy and dark, but the center and first border have lots of open space and I thought they could support a busier border and still hold their own. As far as how dark it is, I was keeping in mind that there are three more borders to be added and felt confident it would balance out in the end.

Biting my nails waiting to see what she thinks . . . . :|

Hey Mary, did you catch that I got my toes in the bottom of the picture as I'm standing on the dining room table? LOL! I had my head in the light fixture trying to get the picture centered. Will have to figure something else out for the next round. My table won't be big enough!  Just out of curiosity, did Dad see the border? Wondering what his opinion is . . . he has such a good eye. ;)

SewConnie what a nice job not only did you pick up the colors but brought the pinwheel pattern out from the center. Way to go girl!

The next mailing is only 2 weeks away. Can you believe we're just about half way through this?!? Remember to sign and enclose the quilt's label with the center. And each center will now have 2 postcards travelling with it.

(Is it right to keep referring to them as "centers"?)

I really appreciate how all of you have kept me in the loop on your mailing and receiving. It's made it very easy to keep track of where each quilt is at. I don't know about you, but after working on the first two, I'm just as eager to see how they grow as I am of my own. This is my first collaborative project and I'm enjoying it so much! Thank you Group 7 for sharing your talent and work! You are all amazing!!
