Don't you just love a great deal?

(+ you've given me something else to look for at garage sales!)

Thats a great buy.
It is better than a plain ladder, the shelves are great for stacking quilts on.

Cool rack! I see the stool with a pretty tapestry on it...found off the remnant table at the fabric store. :-)

Isn't that just a fun project!
I got a wild idea for a quilt "rack" especially for taking to quilt shows to display Quilts of Valor for inspiration and attention getting, etc.
Hubby brought home three pieces of 1x4 pine, milled (I think that is what it is called when it feels like it has been sanded) eight feet long.
Then, we bought four pieces of ten foot long - 1 inch PVC (white) ... it doesn't come in eight feet long ... so the extra two feet becomes wands for us to use while working cattle ...
Anyway, we drilled holes to slip the PVC through at 15", 33", 51", and 69", used colored Duct Tape to help mark where we want the three wood pieces to be placed ... and, now I have a display rack that will hold sixteen quilts, folded to two feet wide (since most of our quilts are just larger than a lap robe), it leans against the wall, and I think it will work very well.
Having seen your new purchase, I am more confident than ever that we created a good display rack ... will fold flat ... travels in my van ... and, you just wait! I'll bet I never go to another quilt show for display <g>
I like your plans for your quilt display. And, the discipline to wait for just the RIGHT price ... I SALUTE you!
