Catherine...the baby in the picture below your name is absolutely adorable. Everytime I see her i think of a wonderful, happy little angel. :P Is she a daughter/granddaughter?

Ladies....Here is the one of the outside blocks to accompany the center ones for Leslee's Quilt 60's version. Will keep you updated on the progress and put up pics when top is ready for sandwich.

Sandra, that is waaaay cool! I love the way you fussy-cut the petals for the flower print. I think I like this one best...probably will until your next one gets posted!!! :lol:

It definitely isn't the sedate or stately quilt your aunt made. :lol: I think the next one would be in batiks. Have a feeling the quilting will be different as well. Still I sure enjoy doing the needleturn applique. Will post it when finished. Have you heard any more news on the quilt?
