    First look, I thought dark as shadow to final frame it, then looked again....leave it as is, use bkgrnd fab.....it speaks wonders by itself! Who is pattern by?

    The quilt is beautiful. I agree with a darker color binding, especially since the edges show wear and dirt more.

    I love your Picasso. I think either binding would look great. Why don't you lay a length of both fabrics along the quilt to see which appeals to you more.

    Thank you all. I had not heard of the dual sided bias binding. I'm thinking of testing a section to see how it works out. Learn something every day. Actually had considered it (not having a clue how to approach it) did not know it is a tried and true process. I am delighted to see "how to" online instructions.

    For those asking about the pattern for this quilt, it is a NY Beauty type block via the Montana Cartwheel pattern. I made changes so this is my version of what became a quilt along for me.
