That is the same pattern I have for a large quilt. It is so cool to make. I have one block done just to see how it would turn out. I love to see how it goes together. Good job!

Thanks, everyone! IF YOU MAKE THIS MINI, PLEASE NOTE: I made the pattern piece to allow LOTS OF ROOM for everything to meet nicely so when you sew the first section together, don't square it up to 3.5" yet. Lay it close to your other block (once you get one complete block made) to line up meeting sections. Your block will finish at 3-1/4". Only trim in areas where the 2 blocks meet (not in the outer border area). Save all trimming of outer borders to be squared up when all rows come together. Pay close attn. to where those dark blades will meet because they'll be noticeable if they don't align properly. Just wanted to warn you of my pattern piece that it will be larger than necessary in order to compensate for meeting angles correctly. I did that on purpose just for YOU! Hope your mini comes together nicely! Be sure and post pics for all to see! Thanks everyone for your super support and nice compliments! n2. :D

p.s. I posted the pattern on pg. 1, the 7th post is mine with the pattern. ;-)

p.s. Here's a tip: I used 1/8" margins when joining blocks and rows.
