I am so sorry about your son. I too lost a daughter 18 years old--15 years ago. Quilting is my therapy. Time changes things, makes them different, but unfortunately never the same as before.

I am sorry for your lost. I really like the last three. I am always surprised that most designs are just turning a basic square a different way.

#1 Crazy shortcut quilt as you go quilt. What are the actual colors of your fabric? You know how sometimes the colors are distorted when posted..... I see them as golds, sage green.

Lorae, Thanks! I'm not sure which one you are talking about since most of them are a bit scrappy. Which one are you talking about?

I am doing the crazy shortcut quilt for my DGD for her wedding but my pattern was called the "pointless wonder". Your quilts are lovely.

My sympathies to you and yours on the loss of your stepson. Your quilts are beautiful and I know he's looking down with a smile on his face because of the wonderful tribute you made for him.

Your quilts are very pretty. So sorry about your SS. I found quilting to be very therapeutic for me, too, in the loss of my two sons. It still is even after 12 yrs...keeps my mind occupied. So glad you were a quilter when this happened.
