    Taking a picture is a great idea!

    I also use my design wall. I can move the blocks around until they are the way I want. Then stand back and see how it looks.

    the quilt is coming along nicely!

    Another trick for using a digital camera. Change your setting to black and white and take a picture of the pile of fabrics you plan to use for a project. It's a great way to see value (lights vs. darks) in your fabric without getting caught up with color. Try it on your quilt tops too.

    it's a Moda line about 1.5 to 2 yrs old. I bought some charm packs and the name of it is eluding me.
