    This is a very thoughtful gift. You are a good friend to make her something to comfort her, a loss like that can be really hard to take without the support of your friends and family.

    I think the colors are a great choice and that you did a really good job on it. :D

    Very lovely and colorful quilt. Did you use cottons in this and what did you use for the batting? I have some charm packs I have been wanting to make into a rag quilt. Yours may just give me the push I need to start it. Thanks for posting. Dixie in Alabama

    such a snuggly quilt. your friend will cherish it. rag quilts are so great to wrap up in. she will be comforted by the quilt and especially the love you sewed into it.

    Did you use those scissors that open each time by themselves.....seems like such a lot of snipping.
