Really beautiful quilt!!! And how neat you were able to finish off your mom's top! I'm guessing you made a really wonderful label for it too, for him. I bet he'll treasure it forever! :-)

I wish I had any of my family's quilts. I have never even seen any though I understand they exist. My mom did make a couple of small items and I love them. She was not a sewer but she tried. Very nice job here.

That is so great and what a wonderful memory to keep for him, knowing that his Gramma was making it for him. The border is a good addition also and really sets it off.

Oh how precious! I am very glad that he thought enough of it to ask you to finish it for him. I often wonder if our work is as treasured as the love we put into them.

You did a wonderful job on the red quilt you mom started. I think they call these second generation quilts because the two of you made it. Just wonderful, both your work and hers.

Beautiful! I'm so glad you nephew wanted to have the quilt completed. He now has a treasure from his grandmother and his aunt combined!

You did a wonderful job on your mother's top. How fun to work on something she made. Your nephew has a very special quilt.
