Joanne - what lovely quilts! I like the 1st one a lot. Your bird is so cute! I love the blue flowers (or leaves?) transition between the blue & the tree. Nicely done!

The bird reminded me of The Raven from Poe. Maybe it's the watch-LOL! Love the colors on the third one - I am totally in love with batiks these days!

Yes I covered the crow with lots of thread. His nest is full of pieces of jewelry and buttons. The watch and butterfly was my mothers as well as some of the jewlery . This way I get to enjoy some of her things.
The nest also has raffia and yarns. And the sun glasses was a pin of my sister that she threw away many years ago.
