This is the 1st time I've tried to do this so hopefully they will come through. This is the mystery quilt I did in 2008. The day of this class I went and within an hour I had to call hubby to take me to the hospital. What we didn't know at the time was that my appendix burst, they didn't find it then, sent me home and it was 5 days later before they diagnosed my appendix and took me to surgery. Needless to say this quilt didn't get done til much later.

Your quilt is beautiful! I love the fabrics and colors; flowers look like fireweed -- are they?

Thank you for your comments. This was a fun piece to do even tho I didn't get to it for about 5 months or so after the class. I think this is actually the 1st one I did completely by myself.

Late is ok.. at least your doing fine more important than being quick to the finish line. Its a very pretty quilt and well worth the wait.. better late than never. Is this for you or a gift? it would be hard to part with.
