Is this the end of the pictures of quilting spaces? I decided to take a look at all these pictures as I was looking over the topics menu, and was disappointed that there were so few quilters who are willing to show their spaces.
I'd be glad to send pics of mine, as bad as it is, but I don't know how to do it. I'm technologically challenged.
Come on folks, let's see some more. This thread is really interesting.

Here is my sewing room in our garage..... :( Moving into a new house in January though where I will have my very own room !! Yea! It is clean as I had just organized it when this pic was taken. It NEVER usually looks this way!

My sewing room is a spare bedroom, ironing room, computer room, cd room as well... glad I don't have a digital camera.... no photos you see.

I'm drooling over your thread collection ceannastahr! I've just begun to collect a thread stash. I'll never catch up to you.

I love seeing other quilters work spaces. I'll try to get a pic of mine some day soon when I have a camera again. Mine isn't as neat as most of yours. I have four machines and I'm running out of room to house all my "babies" LOL Maybe dh will let me use *both* the spare rooms....nah, I couldn't be that lucky. :P

I will have a sewing room...someday...we're still finishing our house. My sewing table is my son's changing table. Some of his clohes are still in it, but I'm starting to win the battle. I need to get him a dresser! He is still in our bedroom and has 3 of 5 of my drawers. BUT...I sew in my bedroom....and the rest of my stuff is downstairs....and, as most of you know, I've got a lot of stuff! (shop inventory)! I will take some pics and post....my cutting table is a pool table....I, uh, only cut the felt twice, so far...DH doesn't know that, yet.. oops! Guess he's gonna have to make me a table! or buy one! LOL!

Thats right cheaper to get you a table the to have to replace the felt

Most definately! I wonder if I can get it wholsale!? lol!
Pool table is also a little on the low side for cutting. Makes my back hurt if I cut a lot.

Thanks! My sewing room has a west facing window so it is nice and bright in the afternoons and also quite warm, even here on the northern California coast. We're about to put in new windows and this room will get some lo-e glass. I have heard that will make a big difference in the heat level. I sure hope so. I can hardly stay in there to sew in the afternoons now.
I know, gripe, gripe, gripe. Will I ever get the perfect sewing room? I think I have some character flaw. I'm never happy. I'm sure there is a better method or room arrangement or... I just have to find it. Thus my constant rearranging of stuff. Oh, well. It does keep me off of the streets (and out of fabric stores!) :lol:
Off I go to try out the new arrangement for this week!
