This is an 18" pillow that I just finished. Zero curved piecing, it's all squares. some folded on the diagonal, and then the biased edge curved back and sewn to itself. I have a whole quilt planned based on this pillow.

Did you use the curve ruler? I ordered the wave pattern and made a baby quilt for our new granddaughter. It was a little tricky and did a lot of practicing and a few blocks ended in the garbage can but really like how the quilt turned out. Now I ordered the ring quilt to do a Double Wedding Ring.

no curve ruler. It's made from pre-cut 5" squares. Some are folded in half to make triangles. those folded triangles have a folded bias edge, it just curves back easily and can be tacked, or sewn into the curve.

I've got graph paper books filled with patterns that I have designed using this technique, but sadly I can design faster than real life allows me to complete quilts. I've got a whole calendar quilt planned, a bunch of holiday quilts, seasonal quilts, table toppers, wall hangings and door coverings.... and this pillow is the only thing actually DONE so far. and this quilt is the only one I've actually added to my EQ program that I got for Xmas.
