Who says I can't stretch fabric?

Here's a matching pillow to go with the wall quilt for my friend. This too is made from her hubby's ties.

That looks really nice. But knowing what pillows go through at my house, that isn't very washable is it? My kids (who are all grown up) like to toss pillows every where, then the dogs lay on them....... That sure is a special thing you are doing for you friend. Great job!!

Thanks. Yes, it's washable, the ties are polyester and have already been washed. She lives alone so I'm not worried.

Yes you could Henry! I used the flip and stitch method and sewed them to batting for a firmer hold. The back is done in the envelope style, very easy on & off.

We have the same problem at our house. I have a shark steamer and I steam the throw pillows once a week or every other week. You can also get the dryell, it is like sending your things to the sry cleaners, but you do it at home in your dryer. It really does work.
