Your pin cushions are so cute!! Just a note about the filling - we shouldn't use walnut shells or sand any more. A generation ago they did, because the pins rust. The pins we buy now do not rust. If you use walnut shells or sand, you will remove the protective coating that is on the pins and they could rust.
