Hi! The pine needles come from Florida or North Carolina (Georgia, too, I hear). Since my sister no longer lives in NC, these came from Florida via ebay! They are fairly reasonable- a couple of pounds make a lot of baskets.
    Thanks for asking!

I have always admired pine needle baskets for the intricate work. Yours are exceptional with the stone base and the antler handles. Wonderful!

I have made a few and know just how much work is involved. Yours are truly spectacular, especially with the addition of the antlers for handles. Keep up the good work!!

I remember a project in Camp Fire Girls years ago working with pine needles. Look what I could have grown up to maybe accomplish! Love your work. Thank you for the pictures.

Wonderful work.....and glad to see someone else knows what a "pudding stone" is....I have found them in Atlanta, Michigan.....also know the time involved working with pine needles...Native American friend who also worked with quills, birch bark and sweet-grass.....Simply amazing what can be made from natures leftovers.

These are beautiful. I love pine needle baskets and am in awe of people that make them. I weave baskets from grapevines. Much bigger materials and I would imagine faster to create.

Wow! They're beautiful! We're surrounded by pines here and every once in a while I find deer antlers that have been shed. I'd love to learn how to make them.
