I wanted to work on something "springy" and I found this in an old Fons & Porter magazine that I had bookmarked for future sewing. Well, it only took me 5 years to start this (LOL) and it went together rather quickly.

The directions in F&P magazines are rather vague so I altered a couple things. I think that's one of the reason's I quit getting their magazine a long time ago. That and most of their patterns are for Intermediate and Experienced and I was a newbie back then.

Anyway, the Dogwood's are fused and I will stitch around them when I quilt it. This is only the top and needs to be finished. The original pattern called for 3 more bindings but I'm not sure if I'll do that. I kinda like it the way it is. What do you think? Maybe one more wider binding???

Top only..

What a pretty quilt! It feels very happy like just having it around will lighten a room :) great job.

I think you mean boarder instead of binding. It depends on how big you want to go, but do think another boarder would add to it. Very pretty.

It's nice and bright! Awesome job! I think one more border would be okay, but two could really make a nice contrast.

Explosive blessings, abundance and inspiration to you all!

Very pretty. I like it. It's bright and fresh looking. I like the border fabric, too. I had that fabric at one time.
