It's simply Beautiful!! I love this pattern & you have done an excellant job making it. Now you have made me think of trying this pattern out, too!!

I didn't even know they had a name until I got on this site and learned they were prairie points. I LOVE the aligator teeth name. But Chele, they sure set your quilt off.

That is so beautiful, so crisp and white and the colors just glow.

I woke up thinking about this quilt this morning (sooooo have quilting on the brain) but in relation to something else. I just got the patterns for 9 dainty applique florals and I woke up thinking "how would it look to use the colors in the flowers as prairie points around each block like petals?"

Something to think about...

For your first attempt those points look awesome. Job well done and looks beautiful love the colors.

I love that quilt,but heres a couple of questions,,,how do you keep the prarie points so flat and how will you quilt it?? It sure is cute!!!

Thanks for all the kind comments. It was a really fun and easy quilt top to make.

Riversong, the example in the pattern has an all over stippled design. I'll probably let the long armer decide a pattern. I'm still a newbie when it comes to quilting. Also in the example, the prairie points are left unquilted. You can see a picture of it quilted at the beginning and end of this link:
