Purple is my favorite color as well. This is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing your lovely art work. Your thread was titled pinwheel, but that is not like any pinwheel I've seen before. I love it though, is this something you made up or did you have a pattern? I would love to get the pattern for this. It is such a unique block.

Thank you all for the kind comments. It's my own pattern.
I made a table runner and two pillows from much smaller blocks, I still have to quilt them. I am very anxious!!
