    I think it needs sashing, b/c I saw triangles when I first saw it instead of the pinwheels. Either way it is super cute!

    I made one for my grand daughter and put a real thin sashing in between and then did a piano boarder of all the fabrics.

    I think what ever you want will be fine. The pinwheels are good colors and work well just how you have them. Lay a border strip around it and see if you like that.
