    Smile Pinwheels - WIP

I'm making this for my DD (on her request). She saw it somewhere online, sent me a photo and I tried to copy it as best as I could. I hope I'm not infringing on someone's personal design, but it's what she wanted. I just got it up on the wall tonight and was so surprised to see it come together so well. I think I'll leave it for a couple of days and decide whether anything needs to be turned. I like the layout, so I'm not changing that. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Any comments or constructive criticism or advice is always welcome. Cheers!

Your DD will love this. Do you have a border in mind yet?

This is an old pattern, so don't feel upset about it. You have done a lovely job with it. Will you be trying out different sashings and borders? If it were mine, I think I would use white sashing with small blue and/or green cornerstones, the deep red for a narrow inner border and a lively print for the border, like Hoffman's Chicken Salad.
