We took the kids to a pioneer farm yesterday. In the basement of the museum they had a quilt display. I wish I'd had more time to take pictures. Here are a couple.

Oh my gosh! I love that Grandma's Flower Garden quilt that looks like a mosaic! That's a great idea I might actually "steal".

I was just thinking the same thing. That must have taken forever to make. It is stunning.

It certainly is! It's gorgeous.

Are those blocks displayed underneath the quilts?

I see you're from Iowa. May I ask where the museum is located?

oh my..wish I could seen that...I love their quilt display, we used something like that at the Alaska state fair to showcase the top winning quilts. The arms made it easy to get a lot of quilts in a little space and the person showing them could move them and talk about each one. It was the BEST set up I have ever seen at a Fair or else where! Thanks for sharing!

Yep, I'm from Iowa. :) It's called the Nelson Pioneer Farm in Oskaloosa. We had a great time. You could literally spend 3 hours there, just looking through the museum. There was some beautiful antiques too!!

Where are you?
