    Pirates Cove

This is my first shot at an "art quilt". The photo does not do it justice. There are lots of jewels in the treasure chest, lots of seashells along the shore. Coconuts in the trees. All of the fish in the water and the seagulls were embroidered on my Bernina.

Oooh sounds devine, maybe you could try posting a few closeups?? Even though we can't really see all those wonderful embellishments what I can see looks like a beach nice enough to be sunning on!

It is Fabulous! Thank you for sharing and inspiring. I am learning free motion machine embroidery; it is fun and challenging. Hope to accomplish something this wonderful sometime in the near future.

Brings back childhood memories of a board game called "Pirates of the Carribean" (w-a-y before the movie). It had "real" jewels and a treasure chest. We can see the texture in your amazing quilt and can almost feel the jewels and seashells. Where the waves deposited the seaweed is so realistic. Fantastic work!

    Looks great. Good job.
I don't want to brag but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school.
