Place mats for the placemat swap!

The theme was "tell me about your day", or Let's talk!
My swap partner wanted Blues in hers.
I love Tea and sharing a cuppa is wonderful, so that was what I went with.
Sitting at a nice table sharing some Tea with a friend.
I used vintage crochet trim from some pillow cases, and felt for the wall hangings, and added some hot fix crystals for some BLING.
This was a great swap and I really had fun making these!

What a clever interpretation of the theme. They do indeed say "lets talk". Love the 'steam' on the cups. Well done indeed.

thank you, glad you noticed the steam...I left the picture dark so you could see it as I used invisible thread!
