Default Placemats

I just finished making 8 placemats from a box of strips a very kind QB member sent me last winter when I was joking around on a thread about people who dump unwanted fabric on us quilters. (I said, "If it's free, it's for me! )

Just wanted to post a picture and show her that I finally made something out of them. Thank you.

Still have a bunch left. Going to make some potholders or something. Trying to make a few things to give for Christmas.

Thanks for looking.

Very pretty! Whoever you give these to will love them! Did you do the quilting?

Yes. I'm not that good at it but I still love to do it.

Trying to learn FMQ now.

Those are really nice! I'm sure the quilt board member that sent them to you is very pleased. Great job!

Nice placemats, and a great way to practice the FMQ. I use smaller projects that way too.
