I make these for DGS play store he will get for christmas. Whenever I get pi.....ed of doing and redoing until it looks like what I intended it to, I only have to think of his face getting his present and it keeps me going.
He loves playing to be a salesman..........

These are just too cute for words - you have a great talent to be able to figure out how to make this food.

You do beautiful work. They look so natural that it makes me hungry.

Any child would be delighted to get something like this and will treasure it for a long time.

Aubergine? Unless it's been GMed, over here we call it an Eggplant. And they are delicious. Can also be cooked like mushrooms. Someone gave me some eggplants that looked a lot like yours just recently, but were not quite as pretty as yours.

eggplant...........of course! thank you and I have to say that my english improved a lot since I spend so much time on this board
Try this: cut the eggplant lenghtwise in half inch slices and turn them in pancake (spiced with salt and pepper) dough and bake them slowly in a frying pan. Delicious
