It's more dramatic without the stripe border but with the border you don't have to worry about perfectly matching points!

I like it better without that stripe, and agree that I would probably use it as a border instead.

I looks like it matches up perfectly, so put the stripe on the outside, as a border. That way, you can show off you awesome perfect work!

Either way would be good, but I like the stripe in between the braids, really pops them. Just my humble opinion.

That is a pretty pattern, thanks for giving me the opportunity to see it. As for which one I like best...I like it without the braid.
