i like the idea of 2 and 4 but i think some of the blocks are in the wrong place it looks like you are using a eq?? i would just for the h__l of it change up the colors so they are really contrasting [just for the placement thing ] if you look at 4 there are rows between the stair ways that have some blue-- some only have one some have --some with none it is not symertical

I like #2. It seems to balance more in the vertical and doesn't give as dizzy effect.

IMO #1 looks the most like stairs and I like the color placement on it as compared to 4. 2 and 3 look like zippers.
