this is absolutely gorgeous piece. I have seen it done.. I never purchased the pattern as I knew I would never do it.
Bob Coon was an instructor here in Western Washington from around the Tacoma area. I took classes from him and he was a real good teacher. Lost track of him after the quilt shop I use to take his classes closed. It has been 5 years or so now... Not sure what happened to him...
Another place you might want to check is "Material Girls" (I think that is the right name) in California-- I am thinking Sacramento, but not sure. He use to go there alot and teach classes. They might have the pattern or know someone who does. I have searched him on the internet and could not find him.
