It doesn't look like a "hot mess" from here. Love that you decided to try something new with the border. You have some good memories with this quilt!

I think this is a very interesting pattern. I like your scalloped border as well.

Looks great to me. Doesn't it feel wonderful to get a UFO done...especially if it is one you don't really like.

Me thinks, you are your worst critic. I absolutely love this quilt! I see nothing wrong with it. It is prefect in every way. Take a breath and embrace the process and enjoy the warmth of the finished product. Which by the way, is glorious!!!!!
