That's the cutest idea. I loved this book too. Never saw the fabric before but would have made a quilt to snuggle under as I read it to my girls :) Is there Good night moon fabric- do you think? They have Care Bears incorporated into the ones they took to college :)

I haven't seen any Good Night Moon fabric, but I'll let you know if I do. I "googled" it and couldn't find any that is like the book.

So for my dad's 80th Christmas, I couldn't resist buying the Pokey Puppy fabric and making a quilt for him. If I posted correctly, you'll hopefully see a picture of him with his quilt!
I bet he got a kick out of that!

Cindy made up several of the soft books, including Pokey Little Puppy, for our little grandson for Christmas. They're so cute!

Never thought of putting the pages into a quilt though.

Very clever! And it makes a really cute quilt!

Love it! I remember that book from my childhood, too, and just to make sure I wasn't confused, I looked it up - yes, there's a Wikipedia article on it! It came out in 1942. It's no wonder it's still popular. It's just wonderful that you had the idea to use it in this way for your dad.
