    Portable Ironing Board

I'm sure you all have seen these a million times before, but I'm just so happy with how it turned out, I hope you don't mind me sharing!

Thanks to a dear online friend, I made this today!!! Hubby was keeping me company, but then fell asleep... the dog inspected my finished table and determined it was ok, but not nearly as good as a treat.

Instructions for how I made it can be found here - http://mysimplewalk.com/how-to-make-...ooden-tv-tray/

Your portable ironing board is very attractive. I make it a point to surround myself with equipment which assists me and raises my spirits......plus looks attractive!

Kelly, thank you for sharing your project, including the link for those who might be interested. Happy New Year!!

I was going to have my husband cut a piece of plywood that I could use to make a machine side ironing board to set on a tray table, but this is a way better idea. Just make the ironing table right out of the tray table! I also like the cheerful fabric used.

That is real neat. I had saved this tut on my computer, but when it crashed I lost all lot of stuff. I purchased a cut and press mat to use on the top of the table. Thanks for sharing.

    Very pretty! Well done You!
Seeing your husband napping there reminds me of that Fons and Porter ad that ran in quilt magazines, where every time George would go to sleep the ladies cut up some of his shirt for a quilt

Very nice ironing board. When I do any kind of work, it wears my Husband out too and he has to take a nap. It happens every evening.

    Nice job!

Does you husband know you posted a picture of him sleeping? ..........LOL

I am going to have to make one of those now.

LOL - yep hubby knew he would be in the picture. He is at stage 5 kidney failure and on dialysis and still working full time, so I think we can forgive the sleeping
