I thought about sashing them but didn't even think about quilting it afterwards! My thought was to just finish it then sash it! But it would look so great your way! Thanks!

The blue lines are the marking for quilting. If you could sew the blocks together, matching the blue lines, you would see a very nice quilting design.

I think those are part of a quilt kit you used to be able to buy. They sell you the white fabric with the blue markings on it. You embroidry they according to the color code and then sew them together.

Only problem was it took so dang many kits and they weren't cheap.

They have kits for napkins and tablecloths as well.
