The ornament is made of small folded pieces so it is sort of 3-D, not flat and sewn toegether like a quilt square. Stunning!
I love this!!! Robinlee- do you have a link to instructions, or a tute?

I just checked the mailbox from yesterday and this is what I received from grammynan! Isn't it cute? The picture doesn't do it justice. Thank you Nancy - now where to put it until my tree is up. Thank you so much! I haven't done paper piecing yet and I don't think I will start with little pieces. Again thank you!

I have a booklet on Folded Fabric Fun and it includes several different ornaments. So each year (for the last 6-7 years) I make another to go with the set for family and friends.
I've also taught this as a class for my fellow Quilt guild members and a few Extension Homemakers clubs. I do like 5-10 at a time depending on how much fabric I have for each ornament. Sometimes I just put muslin on the back on made them into gift tags/ornaments for the following year.
The attachment is a few of the ornaments from the class I taught last October in ND. with book. I've seen the booklet on ebay or half.com. When I get a chance (in the process of moving) I will keep an eye out for the book and send the author name.

Go to my update with one of the last posts. You can see the book there. PM me if you have more questions.
