I really like the back of your quilt too - Did you use layer cake squares 10" for the backing? I think that's a great way to use up scraps for the back of the quilt. I would love to try that too - so just curious if that worked out well for you. I have just the checkerboard middle completed right now - I am working on the first border then I will start making the Posy's surrounding the checkerboard center - I am using a jelly roll from Windham designed by Allison of Cluck Cluck Sew and the fabric is called, "Oh Clementine" I am having so much fun making this one. I will be adding in scraps of other fabrics - This is really a fun project. I may even enter this one into the County Fair this year. Thanks Leatheflea for the tutorial.

so pretty, and big. I like how you were able to use up scraps and make it so fresh looking.

Love how u did the borders...made it more unique. Boy it was windy that day, love how you took the pictures of the boys entangled in it! Thanks for sharing such a fun day!

I've been following your blog for a while now, and have enjoyed seeing your progress on this quilt. When I saw the back I thought, "now that's my kind of quilt back!" I love the surprise of a colorful, reversible quilt!

Love this quilt. You have such nice boys that are willing to entertain their Momma.
