Cool! Great use of left-over batting, and these would make wonderful stocking stuffers for my family at Christmastime!

    Thanks for the kind remarks......:-)
Poly batting in a pot holder is a bad idea, it melts if you use cast iron cookware like I do.
I use 4-5 layers of warm & natural batting, everything in a pot holder needs to be cotton unless you're using insul-bright(heat resistant batting)

Are these the potholders that has tut. about making 2 sizes and slitting the backs to turn them and sewing them together to make them thick?

Sometimes going small for a while is what it takes to get you back on track again. Pretty potholders!!
Insul-brite with the heat resistant foil incorporated in the batting works great for anything that will be used around heat.
It keeps the heat away from the hands, and is easy to quilt, and they carry it at Joann's.
Sure understand about the mojo...... a lot of us are
"under" from the weather. It has been over 100 daily here in Texas until I have the energy and mojo of a fried egg.

Yeah, a week or two, is one thing.......you know this is Summer in Texas. My Dad is 93, and waits until 3-4 AM to even go out and sit on his porch, as that is his only outside diversion.
Cabin fever in the winter is different. You can look out and see snow. All you can look out and see at 105 is heat mirages off the streets, and all your plants dying. Pray for snow!! And SOON!!
