I would have to rip those feet off and fix them, otherwise it is a cute piece.

He is very cute. Sorry you need to redo his feet. You could always pretend he has small feet and is walking on bricks.

He just has tiny feet and he's tip toeing from one stone to another to keep his feet dry (make a little water piece between the "stones").

Ok, Nanamoms, time for you to go to bed!!!!!

I have spent the day re-working the feet and it does not look any better than what I see here. unfortunatly i did it right side i did it wrong side and i don't like either :(
maybe hes walking on grass or something who knows but I gave it all i know, i traced the pattern and fliped it over and sewed it on the right side to get the wrong side up and vice versa i'm clueless.

It's not his feet, it's his "knees!" They are backwards!

They are if his cloak is short, otherwise, I like the idea of stepping from stone to stone across the water! Who would have thought! Someone has a good eye! Happy Quilting!

I love this book! Your giant looks great. I agree, the knees are what need to be adjusted. Maybe if you put it away and come back to it tomorrow, the feet will look better?
