Default Practicing feathers!

After seeing Twinsister2's pictures of her feathers & how she had practiced, I decided I needed to quit saying how much I wanted to quilt feathers & just quilt some. I have watched videos & I've filled a large pad with doodles of feathers for a long time, but never seemed to be able to quilt them. I cut an old sheet & went to town. Still need to practice backtracking with the bump feathers, but I'm pleased & hope that I get brave enough to actually quilt them on a quilt. I use an older Juki on a Little Gracie II frame.

Don't know what size this "practice quilt" is, but it seems it's nice enough to bind it. Really good work!

Your feathers look great. You need to get you a quilt out now.

It's small...about 3 1/2 feet by 4 feet. Just an old sheet. Thanks for the compliment.
