Beautiful quilt - please let us know the technique. Is it paper piecing and applique needle turned or other method?

Jackie, I went out of my comfort zone of needle turn applique and tried a new method for me. I fused the appliques onto wash away applique sheets, then I turned under about 1/4 inch around the piece and glued it, then appliqued it onto the square with invisible thread.

Thanks for the info Joy. Didn't know about wash away applique sheets - will have to check that out because I want to try needle turn applique again soon, after I finish a small quilt top. I've very limited applique experience. Thanks again.
