I love it. I think I would stitch in the 2 ditches to make the 3 peony parts pop, then stipple or meander the background to emphasize the rest of the applique.

What a master project. Can you give us some detail. How long it took, why you chose the peony, impressions from what must have been a long quilting journey. Oh did I mention I like it?

I agree with QM! Your work is so pretty doesn't need much quilting.

Is this a Edyta Sitar pattern, you did a really awesome job on the applique and the piecing. I love it.

I think I saw the pattern here on the quilt board. I liked it because I like any thing appliquel Actually, it only took me about three months to do the applique. I guess I had a challenge from hubby, when I showed him what I was going to make he told me, not in your lifetime. I can't stand it when I am told I can't do something. I think it was the most fun applique I have done.

The pattern is a Laundry Basket Quilts design.

Oh how pretty. Seems every time I see a new quilt on this board I have another to add to my bucket list. So many quilts, so little time.
