Default Prairie Points

Here are my very first attempts at making prairie points. Pin coushion idea in the Feb issue of "Quilter's World". I thought it was a cute idea. But it is tiny--only 4x5.

Nicely done. You might like to join the pin cushion swap when it comes around again.

Cute idea! I saw that one and liked it too! Also easier to try out a new technique on a small project.

I just got my 8 yeard old GD a Janome Hello Kitty Sewing Machine for Christmas. I ought to make her one of these little cushions. I could probably easily figure it out on my own but is there any chance you could post the directions! Thanks so much.

There wasn't much in the way of directions... 9 - 1x4" pieces... 2" squares for the prairie points... Place points between seams however you want. (Not lined up straight.)

the one in the mag said use light & dark, but I just used scraps from a current project.

hope that helps.
