    Pretty baby girl quilt

This pattern was in a kit I got from Connecting Threads that was done in lovely autumn colours. The entire time I was working on it, I kept seeing pastels in my head. So, here is what I did with it. I backed it in Minky. I hope you like it.

I do like it, and more to the point, I am sure the baby girl will.

I love your quilt in pastels, can't visualize it any other way. The lovely quilting shows up so nice on the minky. Great job.

Thanks for posting your quilt, it gives me a great idea. I learned to make braids a few years ago and cut about a million strips to make them. I have about 12 long braids now and didn't know what to do with them. They might be too big but think I'll try it. Still have whole box of strips left too.

I just LOVE this board!! I have got so much inspiration from our members. I'm delighted that I inspired you!! If you have a lot of strips, make one of Ditter's string quilts. They are gorgeous and use up loads of strips!

Oh, I wish, I wish..... No, I have computerized QuiltMotion along with my Crown Jewel longarm. I like to use the excuse that I tore my rotator cuff years ago and can't do freemotion, but I think it is just lack of any artistic ability!!!
